Go forth now as God'servant. Remember God's presence often and draw strength from the knowledge that the One who calls and sends also sustains. (A Guide to Prayer but I think it is from elsewhere).

Stephen's sermon
Acts 7:44-8:1
I do not like Stephen's sermon. We have been reading it for the past few days.
I am too much of an establishment person.
All I can do is pray that I am open to the prompting of the Holy Spirit and do not put my hands over my ears.
