Pray
Open my lips, O Lord,
and my mouth shall proclaim your praise.
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from your presence
and take not your holy spirit from me.
Give me the joy of your saving help again
and sustain me with your Spirit.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen

Almighty God,
give us grace to cast away the works of darkness

Prayer is a communication with God.

1 Timothy 2:1-6

Has it ever happened to you? Thoughts of a friend cross your mind then within a day or two you unexpectedly see hear news of them.

God shares our thoughts. Prayer is a communication with God. Not all our conversations with people are formal, perfectly formed sentences. So it is with God. He eavesdrops and acts on what he overhears. Incredible and wonderful.
