Luke 20:19-26
In short
Jesus always recognized a person's motives. I need to remember this.
Go forth now as God'servant. Remember God's presence often and draw strength from the knowledge that the One who calls and sends also sustains. (A Guide to Prayer but I think it is from elsewhere).
