Rebekah was a loyal follower of God. We know how she left her family and went to a foreign country to marry a stranger, even if he was her cousin. Yet here we have her orchestrating her younger son to deceive her husband into giving him, the younger twin his blessing, his God-given blessing. Jacob the younger did as his mother said and told his own lies too. Yet this man was part of God's plan. He trusted God. Perhaps his brother though entitled to the blessing trusted God less than Jacob even though his sins were less obvious.
God knows us inside out and even uses imperfect people to further his own purposes. From the other side even though I sin I can still be an instrument of God's peace.
