Total Body Prayer

Daniel's praying took over his whole life. He prayed so hard that he food was immaterial, as was his clothing. The only thing that mattered was his prayer. It was the same with Jesus in this time that we commemorate as Lent. He was in the dessert with no distraction.
May I give up this Lent whatever distracts me from prayer. I cannot go into a desert or even a convent house for a retreat. I have the care of other people to consider. May you be the centre of my thoughts.
