Proof is required

1 Corinthians 1:20-31

The Greeks desired wisdom and the Jews signs. I think our civilization require proof. A sign could be magic, an  argument hogwash.

It is certainly considered foolish to believe. 

I believe because I cannot imagine life without God. I cannot imagine what that little thing was that started life on earth. I cannot imagine why those coincidences of circumstances happen. There is not perceivable logic. There is only faith. There is knowledge. The knowledge that a life with God works, one without him, well maybe.

Today in our bible study we shall be looking at Ecclesiastes 2:1-11, Solomon seems to agree with me. God knows. The world may seem topsy-turvy to a wise man but not to a faithful person.
